The New Hair Feather Fashion

Friday, April 1st, 2011

You may have noticed celebrities wearing the latest trend in hair extensions. Hillary Duff, Miley Cyrus, and Jennifer Love Hewitt name just a few of the celebrities that have recently been seen rocking this new hot trend on the red carpet!

So how do we keep up with the current trend? Will the current trend even be our best look? Thankfully in times like these, something so simple as one strand of a feather extensions in your hair can make you look so current, and be so affordable. Very similar to the micro-beaded single strand hair extensions, this light weight comfortable feather extension adds class, personality, and sexiness to any hair style. It also can work really well on any hair color. It is as temporary or as permanent as you want it to be. You can change it as often as you would like, and there are many different styles and colors, so coordinating your feather with your outfit is fun and easy!

Feathers probably remind you most of our Native Americans, because they used them so much to express themselves in head pieces and wardrobes. Today feathers represent so many different concepts! So many different cultures use them to symbolize so many different and unique beliefs. This is the perfect opportunity for you to express yourself through your very own feather extension!

So what will your feather mean to you?

I decided to then move to Los Angeles and go to beauty school. I studied at Flavio's, then assisted at a few different salons. I love doing color and cuts, but my passion is hair extensions, makeup, and weddings!

I also love country music and country line dancing, and I am totally addicted to Zumba! I would like to become an instructor soon. I have a very optimistic attitude and I really enjoy meeting new people! Thanks for taking the time to read about me!

How to Make Your Hair Grow Stronger and Longer Faster – Part 2!

Friday, January 21st, 2011

Part 2 of the 3 part blog:

The second important thing you should do is come to me for your cut! If you live in the Orange County area, you can call and make an appointment with me at (949) 249-2022!

Sounds weird if you want it to grow, however cutting your hair every 6-8 weeks is actually very important as far as the growing out process goes. Reason being is as your grows, it can start to split off at the ends, and the longer that split is there the further up the hair shaft the split goes.

If you are getting your regulars trims, you are indeed cutting off the beginning portion of that split therefore your can continue to grow in a straight and long path. Also when you get your hair cut with me I do a complete scalp massage followed by a deep conditioning treatment.

Both of these are important because the more often you massage or lightly brush your scalp the more blood flow you get to the scalp area, promoting hair growth! The conditioning treatment with nourish and moisturize your hair shaft, a professional product will actually penetrate into the cuticle providing more condition!

It is also important if you are growing out your hair to try not and use small rubber bands, thin hair ties, or tight pony tails. Especially fragile hair because the restriction of these hair accessories causes breakage.

Also it is important to sleep on a satin pillowcase. This will prevent split ends and matted hair and will decrease your chances of wrinkles. Last but not least, when blow drying your hair, try to let your hair air dry as long as possible or use low heat on a low setting to get most of the moisture out before using a brush.

The less stress on the hair shaft the stronger, longer, and healthier it will be!

Stay Tuned For Part 3!

How to Make Your Hair Grow Stronger and Longer Faster – Part 1!

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

Today I am going to give you the first portion of the three best ways to make your hair grow stronger and longer faster!

My first little secret I would like to share is called Biotin. Hair grows on average 1/2 inch per month. However if you take Biotin & a pre-natal vitamin, which can be found at any local drug store, vitamin shop, or walmart, everyday you will significantly notice a difference in your hair growth.

Things to keep in mind are: yes you will be getting your roots done more often, and if you wear nail polish or acrylics, you will need a fill more often. However it is totally worth it!

Hope you can use this information and grow your out!

Remember to check back in for parts 2 & 3 so you can get on the right track for longer, stronger, and healthier hair!!!!!!!!

Epicuren & My Best Kept Little Secret

Monday, January 17th, 2011

My best kept little secret…..Epicuren! This skin care line is amazing. It was discovered by a chemist over twenty years ago who wanted to treat burn victims. He was able to match the enzyme in the lining of our cheeks, treated the patients with this enzyme, and they began to heal!

Epicuren transforms the health of your skin! I love the cleanser and moisturizer, but my 2 favorite products are the scrub and protein mist.

I carry the protein mist around with me in my purse everywhere I go and I just take it out and mist my face whenever I feel I need a little freshener. The protein mist enhances what you’ve already put on your face in the morning and nourishes your skin with vitamins. This skin care line is totally affordable and one of my closest friends is an esthtician and does complimentary skin consultations as well as $20 off your first facial.

Facials are so important because as we go about our everyday life our pores get clogged with pollutants from the air, oils from makeup, and sweat. Cleansing and moisturizing morning and night have kept my skin looking youthful and clear!
